The frame of the flexFORM sofas and seats is made of chipboard panels and wooden battens, forming a rigid load-bearing structure. The panels give the modules their proper shape, while the wooden elements reinforce the frame and serve as the base for mounting the remaining parts.
The seat and backrest feature spring webbing, which provides elastic support for the foam layers and works together with them under load. T35 and T40 foams of different densities are layered on top to achieve the right support and seating comfort. The whole thing is finished with upholstery.
The modules rest on metal feet available in two variants: a square 40 × 40 mm profile or a round Ø 40 mm profile. The choice of foot shape allows the base to be matched to the character of the interior and the rest of the furnishings.
The feet are made of a square 40 × 40 mm steel profile or a Ø 40 mm steel tube. Each foot is fitted with a specially designed mounting plate, enabling stable attachment to the piece’s wooden load-bearing structure. This solution ensures loads are transferred from the structure to the base and a durable connection between the foot and the frame.
Tilting Work Surface
The work surface features a tilting mechanism, allowing the top to be angled for easier seating and standing. A metal support structure, made from 40 × 20 mm profile, provides stable support for the top during use. The top is crafted from a board with rounded corners, minimizing sharp edges in the user contact zone. This work surface creates a convenient area for using a laptop or taking notes.
